The concept
The project at Lampton School focused on delivering a clean, contemporary, and low-maintenance washroom environment. The aim was to replace the old, worn facilities with a bright, efficient, and easy-to-clean layout that supports student well-being and long-term functionality.
The process
Leigh Washrooms carried out a full strip-out of the existing washroom, including removal of old cubicles, flooring, plumbing, and wall finishes. The space was then rebuilt from the ground up with new drainage and plumbing systems, hygienic wall cladding, anti-slip vinyl flooring, and robust IPS panelling.
Custom-built vanity units with integrated solid-surface trough sinks and sensor-operated taps were installed to promote hygiene and water efficiency. New toilet cubicles were fitted with high-quality laminate partitions and privacy locks. The final touches included LED lighting, wall mirrors, and modern hand dryers to ensure a professional finish.
The outcome
The completed washroom now provides Lampton School with a fresh, bright, and functional facility built to withstand high traffic while remaining easy to maintain. The new design enhances user comfort, hygiene, and overall visual appeal — reflecting a professional and future-proof standard for educational environments.
